Christine Rushford, LMHC, CPFT
I am passionate about working with children, parents and couples, because I understand the demands on today’s families. I understand you and the struggles your family faces, because I am a parent just like you! I firmly believe that it takes a village to raise our children and today’s families don’t always have the necessary villagers to get that done. I can be a part of that village. I also believe, that a healthy and happy relationship with your partner is the foundation of a strong family. I can help you improve your relationship with your partner if you are struggling.
My office is a safe place to discuss your fears and concerns for your family. I am supportive rather than judgmental. I can provide practical, relevant tools to improve the relationships in your home.
Education
I attended Western New England University in Springfield, MA to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
I then took several years off from my career to stay home with my four children.
I graduated from Troy University in Fort Walton Beach, FL in 2012 with a Master’s degree in Counseling & Psychology.
In 2014 I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of FL and began utilizing Play Therapy techniques in my work with children.
